Line Up 2 IPhone Review

Line Up 2 is a fun, color matching game where you race against the clock to match as many of the same colored blocks as you can before the screen fills up with blocks.  With three different game modes and various blocks to help you through the game, it easy to find yourself lost in this game IPhone game for hours.

Graphics:  7

For an IPhone game, the graphic in Line Up 2 are average for this genre.  All the blocks are colorful but there is nothing amazing or revolutionary about this games graphical system.

Sounds:  5

There is only one sound in Line Up 2 and which is a little ding whenever you match various colored blocks.  While this sound is not bad in the beginning, it can quickly become annoying.  It’s a good thing that the game has an option to turn off sounds.

Game Play: 7

Line Up 2 has a very simple game play that makes a great choice for children of all ages.  Puzzle Enthusiasts however will enjoy that fact that each game must be solved in less than 50 clicks, making some of the levels more challenging.

Options: 7

Compared to other IPhone games in this puzzle genre, Line Up has very few options.  Players can choose between three options: Classic, Clique, and Unlimited Tap.   While unlimited tap can be fun, it does take the challenge out of the game, making it a bit more boring.  Some puzzle enthusiasts may enjoy the fact that you can challenge others who play the Facebook version of this game.

Fun: 6

At first Line Up 2 seems very addictive, but after playing for about half an hour, the game can quickly become boring.  The game is completed fairly quickly and it seems to be more of a game of chance than actually solving a puzzle.

Overall:  6.5

Being a free IPhone game, many puzzle enthusiasts will love Line Up 2 as a quick time waster while waiting in line at the grocery.  If you are looking for a serious puzzle, however, you will quickly find yourself disappointed with this game.  One of the only redeeming features about this game is the fact that it can be played by puzzle enthusiasts of all ages, along with the fact that this game allows you to challenge friends who are on Facebook.  I would highly recommend this game as a starter puzzle game for children.
